 Class Descriptions

French For Travel

Planning a trip to France or to a Francophone country and want to learn basic French? This class is for you!Your instructor will introduce you to the French language and focus on key words, phrases and questions you will need during your travels. This class is for beginners who want to be able to: 

  • ·     Meet and greet people
  • ·     Ask for directions
  • ·     Order meals in cafes and restaurants
  • ·     Converse about transportation and accommodation needs
  • ·     Ask key questions regarding sightseeing and while shopping
  • ·     Know key phrases need for an emergency

Upon completion of the class, you will feel more confident in navigating your way during your travels. Conversations or dialogues about trips will be held during every class period

This class is taught in French, but English will be used when necessary.

Placement Test

If this is your first time at the Alliance and you have not taken classes with us before, you should take a FREE Online Placement Test.

Once we have your test results, we will contact you for a short oral interview. Or, you may contact us at 716-688-4121 and set up an appointment with one of our instructors.
