PechaKucha Night with AFB

Wednesday, February 17 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT

Join us at 7:00pm for the first ever PechaKucha night at AFB

What is PechaKucha?

PechaKucha is a visual storytelling where a presenter shows 20 slides, each with 20 seconds of commentary. This creates a 6 minutes 40 second presentation on an interesting topic. Since presentations are short, PechaKucha night allows several individuals to participate by sharing their presentations.

Why PechaKucha?

It’s a great way to highlight information in a short and sweet way. In our case, we will focus on ‘All things French’ and presentations can be in either French or English, the presenter will choose.

Interested in presenting?

You need to create a PowerPoint presentation with 20 slides with 20 seconds of commentary for each slide. (Significant practice time is needed to time your slides and commentary.)  We have room for two more Presenters. Please email Paula Hinz for more information and to sign up as a presenter. First come, first served.

If presenting is not your thing, but you are interested in ‘All things French’ why not be in the audience?  You're invited to joining us on Zoom to watch PechaKucha night.

We will announce the presenters and topics as soon as we fill all 4 slots.

Host: Paula Hinz

We are experimenting with new ideas for AFB winter events, so let us know if you would like to see more like this!

Free for public participation

This event will be on Zoom.
