Conducted by Marianne Vallet-Sandre, long time food afficionado and Alessandra De Simone, private caterer Place: Home of Marianne Vallet-Sandre 52 Lexington Avenue, Buffalo, NY (Alternate side parking, consult panels) Price: $60 AFB members, $110 per couple member $65 non-members, $120 per couple non-member Taking on where our great lecturer Benjamin Desjardins left off last spring, we will create bonbons, petit fours, cakes and even probe a drink or two: “à base de chocolat bien sûr!” While we will taste a nibble or two during the process, attendants will have the opportunity to take home creations samples to enjoy after dinner, rather than sitting down for a “dégustation sur place, comme d’habitude!”, due to the nature of the confections on this occasion. Ingredients and containers will be supplied. In addition to the necessary ingredients, attendants are provided with a booklet of recipes to enrich their library as well as to jot down personal notes. Bring your apron! If interested, make your reservations early to avoid being disappointed! Last workshop was quickly sold out!! Open to everyone. Limited to 10 participants.
