First prize - $550
Emily Smith, from Clarence High School
Second prize - $350
Michael Kratochvil, from Kenmore East High School
Third prize (tied) - $125
Louisa Brown, from East Aurora High School
Michael Chown, St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute
Starting in 2004, the Alliance Française de Buffalo (AFB) has been offering an Excellence in French Studies Award to the three best high-school French students. This program is a partnership between the Alliance Française de Buffalo and the Melodia Jones Fund of the University at Buffalo.
