Goûter de Noël

Le traditionnel Goûter de Noël de l’Alliance Française de Buffalo (AFB).

Children 8 and under enjoy crafts, snacks, songs, a skit and a visit from Père Noël! Parents bring a small, wrapped gift (valued under $10) for their own child to open. (It is delivered by Père Noël!)

The Goûter includes a Bûche de Noël competition. The bûches are judged on their looks, originality, and also on their taste. Three winners get a prize and guests all share the delicious results.

The event is free for all AFB members and their children!

In 2012, the Goûter de Noël and annual Bûche de Noël Competition will be held on Saturday December 8, from 2PM to 4PM. Buff State, Butler Library 210

In 1999, the Alliance Française de Buffalo started organizing a Goûter de Noël, an event geared towards families with young children, with a show organized by the children from the Club des copains, crafts around the holidays, a Père Noêl that speaks French and distributes presents. In 2001, a new component geared towards adults, was added on the instigation of Nathalie Guérin: a Bûche de Noël Competition.
